As part of the China-UK University Presidents’ Round-table (CUUPR), the Institute hosted a visit from Beijing Normal University Delegation and Jilin University Delegation on 7 June, 2019.
CUUPR is a major initiative, involving four Pro-Vice Chancellors/Vice Chancellors from Oxford and other UK universities, four President/Vice Presidents from Chinese universities and the Minister Counsellor of Education at the China Embassy, London.
The Chinese Presidents visited specific departments at the university ahead of the conference on Education and Social Governance, jointly with National Development and Reform Commission of PRChina and UK Embassy in China where one of the topics is 'Ageing and Education'.
