1st IAGG Africa Region Conference of Gerontology and Geriatrics
Announcement for and Conference programme.
The scientific programme comprises over 20 paper sessions, convened symposia and special roundtables, and four key plenary sessions. The Conference will bring together more than 300 researchers, civil society representatives, policy makers and practitioners from across Africa and beyond. It will provide a unique platform for knowledge transfer, cutting-edge debate and agenda setting on Africa Ageing in the coming years.
The social programme will include a Welcome reception, following the Opening Plenary, and an exciting Cape Culture Dinner Experience, at GOLD Restaurant. A professional site visit, to two NGOs that serve older persons in townships, has been arranged for the morning of 17 October.
